What Guides Us
Every girl who joins our family brings a unique story. Our guiding principles inspire us to provide compassionate care with consistency, integrity, and accountability.
We integrate safe housing, nutritious meals, healthcare, and individualized mentoring to create a stable, supportive environment for every girl.
Currently, our girls attend local public schools and receive home-based tutorial support to strengthen their learning. Once the Tripto Residential Compound is completed, they will transition to our unique integrated boarding school, offering exceptional education, holistic care, and a brighter future.
Our model is unique in Bangladesh. The Tripto Family is a small group home where girls live with the Founder ("Tripto Baba") and Co-Founder ("Tripto Ma"), receiving personalized 24/7 care. Every girl enjoys the same love, rights, and opportunities as the Founder's biological grandchildren. We provide complete support for their safety, health, nutrition, education, and personal development until they graduate from university and/or marry. Our residential staff are exclusively women or members of the Founder's family. Girls may continue living with us beyond age 18 for higher education. We are non-political, non-religious, and maintain zero tolerance for abuse or neglect.
A unified funding model allows us to allocate resources where they are needed most, supported by timely audits conducted by a renowned, certified accounting firm and transparent reporting to all donors and partners.

Need Details?
We want every supporter to understand how the home operates, how funds are used, and how decisions are made.
TnF is firmly committed to being religion-agnostic. This means that all OVGs, regardless of their or their biological family’s religion or sect or caste or creed or color, are welcome to reside in TnF. TnF also has a firm anti-conversion approach which will be enshrined in the TnF policy. TnF will offer religious instruction to any girl who desires it. At present, TnF houses only Muslim girls and offers basic Arabic and Quran reading tutoring to the girls. In future, if girls from other faiths become part of TnF, arrangements for tutoring in their religion will be made, and their religious festivals will be celebrated to instill the lessons of communal harmony in all TnF wards.
Donations are pooled into one flexible fund that supports housing, nutrition, school fees, health care, and urgent protection needs.
The committee shapes long-term strategy, approves key initiatives, and reviews financial and program decisions on a regular basis.
Yes. We welcome structured visits, volunteer support, and institutional partnerships that align with child protection guidelines.
We share milestone updates, maintain internal tracking on spending and outcomes, and keep supporters informed through regular communication.

No. None of the TnF girls are studying in Madrasa. Our long-term intent is to make each girl fully self-sufficient, financially sound, and capable of taking care of her family. In our view, Madrasa education does not help build up these skills. Further, the job market for girls who graduate from Madrasas is far inferior to boys. Additionally, TnF is committed to being a religion-agnostic organization, and this excludes Madrasa education. All our wards will continue to attend good-quality private schools. Religious education would be offered inhouse to those girls who desire it.
Our Testimonials
"Mr. Bahar, the founder of Tripto Neer Foundation, is a truly special person. I have known him for many years since we worked together at the World Bank. After retirement, he dedicated his life fully to this foundation, and I have had the privilege of volunteering here for several years. What makes this place unique is that it does not feel like an institution or organization — it feels like a loving family home. Mr. Bahar and his wife care for the girls with incredible love, warmth, and dedication, just like their own children and grandchildren. Among all the orphanages I have visited over the years, this one stands out because it is built on love, care, and family values. Thank you, Mr. Bahar and his wife, for everything you do for these children. I wish you and the foundation all the very best for the future."
"I had a very enjoyable time. Tears of joy were flowing from my eyes. I could see future leaders in the eyes of each of the girls. I pray that you will grow up a lot. Be good people. And I pray that the Great Creator keeps the couple husband and wife who are leading this great work and dreaming big healthy and gives them the strength to fulfill their dreams! (Ameen)"
"I wholeheartedly support the activities of the Tripto Neer Foundation (TnF), which is dedicated to fulfilling the inspiring commitment and implementation of programs to uplift the lives of orphaned and vulnerable girl children in Bangladesh. We extend our support and cooperation to realize TnF's noble objective of ensuring a safe environ-ment for these orphaned and helpless girls to grow with dignity, self-confidence, immense potential, and hope, and we urge others to join this great cause as well."
"“Marie Jeanne and I are very happy to have had the opportunity to come here, meet the kids, witness the great work of the foundation, and experience the incredible energy they bring. Hearing their stories, learning about their aspirations, and seeing their enthusiasm was truly rewarding. Thank you so much for hosting us — we will definitely come back again.”"
"Assalamu Alaikum. I had visited this foundation before, and I liked it very much. That is why I felt inspired to come again this time. When Mr. Bahar told me about the progress over the years, I became very curious and excited to see it myself. The children have grown a little older now, though they are still very young. I also heard that the eldest among them is now pursuing undergraduate studies, which made me truly happy and proud. I have a message for them: May Allah guide them to become better human beings. Through so much sacrifice, patience, and care, they have come this far. Even without the warmth of their parents beside them, they are growing into strong and capable individuals. May they continue to become good human beings with independent minds and strong values. May they always learn to accept and follow what is right and good. And I want to tell them one more very important thing — they must dream. Dreaming is a beautiful thing. They should always hold on to their dreams and work towards them. May they learn to call justice “justice” and injustice “injustice.” May they always recognize good as good and bad as bad, and have the courage to speak the truth."
"Dear Tripto family, I came here today without any expectations. I thought it would be like any other visits to an orphanage. But at the end of the day, I feel like I am leaving with a lot more than what I could give to you. Thank you for the genuine inspiration and love. I will cherish the time I had with you. And as promised, I will be back to see you all again next year."
